Me neither!!!
Being a long-time penny pincher, I cringe at what people spend for their special day. My own wedding, in 1983 was done very frugally.... my dress was a splurge...$800 - my bridesmaids were my two sisters and we had the dresses made by a seamstress in our small town... material was purchased on closeout for $3 a yard.
We rented mums for the table decorations .... and that was all we did at the reception......it didn't look like a mini-prom.... it looked like a nice room at the Elk's lodge with a dinner and dancing.
